Rome was not built in a day.

Remember this when you begin this course, and for the rest of your life.

Remember too that the Roman empire fell. It crumbled to the ground due to corruption. These principles have humbled me and led me to achieve success as a dentist and businesswoman. I set out to become great, and greatness followed.

Success follows those who seek it. You must also work to maintain it. I built a reputation and a practice that has patients returning to see me and my team by:

  • Implementing ethical, straightforward treatment planning based on long term benefits to your patient.
  • Understanding the emotional connection necessary to reach high case acceptance.
  • Practice, practice, practice.
  • Receiving coaching with humility, excitement, and open-mindedness. It was hard in the beginning.
  • Understanding the benefit of having a mentor, and being a mentor
  • Surrounding myself with like-minded dentists who aspired to create long lasting impact on their patients and teams.
  • Gaining and retaining the loyalty of my staff. I show thanks, and even say I'm sorry when it is necessary. We are human, we are not perfect.
